We loved the food and the atmosphere was perfect!

Good location, great pizzas and excellent tiramisu. More particularly, the service was outstanding from start to finish. Will not hesitate to recommend it.

We had a table for four people - and arrived nice and early for dinner. We were greeted well; and service remained good through the evening.
We shared two entrees; each very nice - the scallops were delicious. We then had between us: spatchcock; 2 steaks; and for me the pork belly. All were very well presented and other than bones all plates were wiped clean. Very good.

The tables are set up perfectly, options for dining on the street, at the window or up the back. Big groups or small with a lovely atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. We shared a pizza to start between 4, pasta and meat dishes were tried over mains, pork and steak were presented well. Well enjoyed evening, no pressure, no stress.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening as a family of four. What a disappointing night, and a waste of time and money. All prices in this review are full menu prices, but believe me, even the half price first table prices are excessive!
Service was uninterested and cursory. Food was abysmal. Atmosphere non-existent.
We ordered 3 kids meals as figured they would be small and the kids wanted to share some calamari as a starter. Which we specified. However, the 2 other kids meals came first, a passable spag bol, and a very strange 'penne with butter and cheese" which was penne but instead of with a little butter and parmesan, came in a gluggy, bland and bizarre white sauce, a bit like a mac n cheese sauce but without any flavour. And then the calamari came, and one look at it made me wish it hadn't.
3 or 4 shrivelled, burnt deep fried frozen calamari rings, with all the flavour of rubber bands, only not as tender. these came with terrible flat chips and a very sad salad of chunks of tomato, a couple of walnuts and what looked like a slice or two of pear. on a kids meal? seriously? (price, $12. oh and $5 for a small glass of pink lemonade).
on to the main courses (a long time later, well after the kids had finished eating). 1 scotch fillet with prawns and potato rosti and mushroom cream sauce special, price $32. oh dear. the tactic here was obviously to bury the piece of meat under copious amounts of over-salty cream sauce to hide the fact that this piece of meat was more gristle and fat than meat, and was pretty much raw in the middle, not the requested medium rare. a 10 or 12 buck steak in your local pub would put this one to shame. after a few minutes or fruitless hacking and sawing with a regular knife (my request for a steak knife only resulted in an equally unsuitable knife of a different shape) without finding more than a morsel of edible meat (unless you happen to be a very hungry dog with sharp teeth, a rottweiler or doberman, say) i decided to give up. I do have to mention the 'potato rosti' which was sitting at the very bottom of this forlorn collection of items. This was about as far from a potato rosti as you can get. This thing could easily have been mistaken for an ice hockey puck, and is best described a burnt offering with some sort of mashed potato in the middle which i think even the above mentioned very hungry dog would turn its nose up at.
and the margarita 'extra' pizza (the extra cost being for buffalo mozarella, $23). as soon as it was put on the table, that same sinking feeling when you realise that nothing is going to be decent. the surface of the pizza had a large amount of liquid pooling and running over the top of it, which seemed to be excessive juice from the sad little halved cherry tomatoes dotted over the top of it (bizarre..), or maybe liquid from the cheese. anyway, it was soggy, unpleasant and tasteless.
other than that, a rocket and parmesan salad was given equally inept treatment. you wouldn't think it possible to mess up a salad with 2 basic ingredients. it is.
so, maybe the chef had a bad night. maybe the regular chef and waitstaff had been given the night off. i don't know. but I doubt it - see other recent reviews of this place on TripAdvisor! it was our bad luck to waste our saturday evening at this place.
Avoid.

The service was prompt and friendly and that's where the good stuff ends!
Terrible food and not an Italian person in the place.
Scallops with tasteless cauliflower puree and chewy mushrooms.
Undercooked doughy gluten free pizza base.
Rocket salad overpowered with cheap balsamic vinegar.
The worst dish was the dry tough pork belly with passata out of a jar that wasn't in the menu description. It was terrible and the stuff I cook at home is much better than this.

The restaurant has decent reviews on Trip Advisor so I suspect their regular pizzas might be decent but the stuff we ordered was very poor.
