La Grillade

A rustic taste of provincial France in the heart of Redfern, La Grillade simply oozes European charm. For 25 years, this neat little eatery has whisked diners to the opposite side of the globe with their honest, homecooked fare.

Taking all the beautiful characteristics of the traditional French bistro and giving it a modern rehaul, La Grillade combines farmhouse vibes with more contemporary, beachy themes. An intricately tiled floor affords the dining room a certain Grecian grandeur whilst the classic bistro furnishings, unpretentious décor and fully stocked wine shelves keep La Grillade true to its roots.

The menu is also dedicated to serving an irresistible taste of French elegance. Classic cornerstones of the cuisine stand tall, like snails in garlic-parsley butter and duck liver pate for starters. The mains also indulge in rich, decadent flavours with the beef bourguignon, Coq au Vin and filet mignon, anointed with the creamiest mushroom sauce.
