Enjoy a classy night out with family and friends at The Argyle, a classic pub-style venue located in Sydney’s The Rocks.

Set in a building that dates back to the 1820s, this bustling restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family, friends or work colleagues.

You can expect to eat traditional pub-style food at The Argyle. Choose from a range of nibbles, such as popcorn chicken and salt and pepper squid, mains, such as chicken parmigiana and sirloin steak, and platters—perfect for a group. There is also a burger and pizza menu for those looking for some heartier fare to sink their teeth into. Gluten-free and vegetarian food options are also on offer.

Of course, you couldn’t visit The Argyle without having a cheeky beverage, and the list here is really strong. There is a range of unique cocktails on the menu, with classics available on request, and the wines and beers are plentiful.
This is a great venue for those looking to celebrate or just indulge in a tasty meal in the heart of the city.

Decent pub food however the bar, table and washrooms were dirty. Not the best environment. We sat inside, outside is probably nicer.

Food was good - delicious pizza! Happy Hour drinks at the same time was a bonus - great selection available. Odd seating for a dinner at a small coffee table meaning we only felt comfortable ordering finger food (would've been too difficult to use utensils). Fun busy Saturday night atmosphere.

Great place, nice atmosphere, plenty of helpful friendly staff.
We enjoyed happy hour with a few expresso martinis.
Liked the music, and the food was OK
The bathroom areas need a serious professional clean & regular service.

The pub was very noisy, the food wasn't great. The service was ok, but not for a family, they didn't have high chairs. Great venue for drinking, but probably best to avoid eating unless hungover or drunk.

An iconic location, great vibes, and fast service with the food, although the mains came out before the entrees and suddenly we had 4 plates of food at once. The portions were large which made them great value for money.
Drinks were great.
Great Atmosphere and friendly staff.

We met friends here for dinner before going to the theatre, the building itself is really interesting and had a good atmosphere with friendly staff. We all enjoyed our food and will definitely be going back, loved that we got in before it got too crowded..
