We had a fantastic meal at Quarterdeck. We sat at the front table overlooking the water. The service was impeccable and all the seafood we had for both entrees and mains were sensational!... Dessert looked amazing but we just couldn't fit it in. Would definitely recommend that you eat here.

Our 1st experience with First Table in seaside Mandurah.
Greeting at the door by a friendly smiling waiter with a lovely French accent named Dean.
He gave us a table indoors overlooking the marina with an amazing view.
Lovely decor with tasteful quiet music playing in the background added to the ambience.
Drinks were attended to promptly with a smile and order taken with the entree served in a timely fashion.
We shared a Fruites de Mer. Delicious tasting plate of fresh seafood with prawns, scallops, squid.
I had the Fillet Mignon and my parter the Sirloin Steak. Cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth tenderness.
A enjoyable dining experience in a scenic location. Will be back again.

Enjoyed a beautiful meal, fresh seafood on the Fruitis De Mer, perfectly cooked, delicious dessert platter to share because we wanted to try them all. Turkish Delight Cheesecake was amazing. Excellent service by the staff in a ambient setting overlooking the Mandurah Marina. Would recommend for that special romantic occasion any time of year.

This beautiful intimate restaurant is well worth a visit I cannot fault anything on the night. We had a shared entrée tasting plate which was well presented and tasted sensational with prawns/scallops/pickled octopus and more. We both had mains and desert as it all looked so good coming out. The mains aren't massive big meals but what you do get is lovely. I enjoyed it thoroughly as I like to be able to enjoy entrée/mains and desert and not walk out feeling like you should drop into the ocean lol

Our first experience with First Table did not disappoint. From the warm greeting when we arrived to the delightful, early evening ambience.

We were seated and provided with menus and a wine list. The menu was well laid out and easy to understand. It was not overwhelming, which I appreciated. The wine list: wow! Educational as well as extensive. I almost felt as if I let the side by ordering a single glass of SSB.

I choose from the "Chef's Specials", a lovely fillet a snapper on a bed of exquisite risotto. My wife chose the Bosun's Catch which two pieces of battered fish, with chips and Tartare sauce. She allowed me to taste some fish and the chips, both delicious, but the sauce! I had the smallest taste - she did not want to share.

Desserts: we could not choose, pecan pie, sticky date, Turkish delight cheesecake, creme brulee and others. Thank goodness for their dessert tasting and share plate. We got to try all four. Sizes were just right.

Thank you First Table, and thank you Quarterdeck

Not so good, place was empty and we were only guests for the 2.5 hours we were there on a Saturday evening.
Restaurants each side were extremely busy so we wondered why. Well the answer is expensive menu items for food that was fair to avarage and tiny portions. $45 share plate with basically 2 wings, 1 small arancini, 1 prawn 2 slices salami & slice of prosciutto each with some toast !!!
Bottles of beer $8.50-10 and cheapest wine $36-38 bottle.
Pricing very pretentious for the area, owner should ask themselves why they have no clients when their neighbours are full ??

My husband and I had a very romantic dinner at this place. Location is perfect. The food was well presented and the staff friendly. The only minor critic would be that the portions a little bit small.
We will come back again

We are experienced First Table users and would love to describe the experience at The Quarterdeck. Unfortunately, we arrived early to our seating and were denied service due to what the manager described as a "First Table rule" that she was not allowed to serve any First Table customers early to their seating. We have never heard of such a rule. There was only one other occupied table and fewer customers than any other restaurant in the strip. The kitchen was open, so that was not a problem. We have arrived early to many First Table seatings and have never been turned away because we were early. In fact, other restaurants were eager to have us during their slow periods. Not so at the Quarterdeck!

We had a really lovely dinner here at Quarterdeck. Fantastic service, made to feel very welcome and the kids enjoyed the colouring-in kit.
Food was yummy, portions were small but suited us. Dessert tasting place was the perfect ending, highly recommend.

Disappointed with the food. Ordered the duck but unfortunately had bone through it. The fish was tasteless to be honest. Definitely had much better quality of food. Some sort of weird relationship going on between waiter and owner.... not very professional on owners part. Waiter was trying his best. Freezing cold evening and door wide open, no heating.

Superb spot over looking the water. Great friendly efficient service. We enjoyed entrees, mains and dessert. Pork belly was so tender. Steaks were done beautifully. Creme Brulé donuts were tasty too. Was chilly outside so heaters would be great.
