Pay a visit to The Raw Kitchen - a renowned hub for healthy, sustainable living - for a truly delicious & highly nourishing plant-based meal that will change your mind on just how incredible plant-based cuisine can be!

Nestled in the heart of Freo, this converted warehouse is also home to Australia's largest plastic-free store, a pumping yoga studio, a kombucha microbrewery, ongoing workshops & classes, and trendy events space. Led by head chef Tim Kershaw, the menu offers an angelic selection of progressive plant-based dishes, put together with care.

And don't let the name fool you, this is not a raw food restaurant!

The famous yellow coconut curry features local lupin tempeh, broccoli, sweet potato and the most incredible curry sauce with a side of organic quinoa, and the vegan nachos with cashew sour cream deliver a delicious, guilt free crunch. All dishes are 100% free of gluten, dairy and refined sugar, so there really is something for everybody.

Their drinks menu is extensive and thoughtfully selected. All of their wines are Australian, with a strong focus on West Australian producers, and every wine ticks certain boxes to be included on the menu, be it natural, organic, preservative free, biodynamic, sustainably produced or a combination of them all. Try a glass of the Ashbrook Estate WA Verdelho to complement your meal. They also feature a selection of local craft beers, ciders and changing superfood cocktails.

As if all this wasn’t enough, sustainability and environmental awareness is at the heart of everything The Raw Kitchen does, so while you treat yourself to a delicious morsel, you’re also doing right by the environment. It’s a win win situation.

Food was well presented, served promptly and was really tasty. We had the Shared Tasting board, Mushroom Pizza, Yellow Curry and Pad Thai. We all had a taste of every item and there were no complaints at all! Yummy food and friendly service. We will be back!

My 3rd time at the Raw Kitchen and yet again, my favourite dining experience in W.A! After not seeing my Brother & Sister in law for a few months, i made a booking at TRK as we are all vegans. From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed to our table and felt instantly excited to choose our food for the evening ! We feasted on Roasted baby potatos with Cashew Aoli, which i honestly could have devoured in less than half a second and ordered more they were so delicious! But there was no need as they were so abundant. Not to mention that 5 other dishes we ordered. The Bruschetta, Truffle Pizza & Raw Pad Thai are my personal favourites and we ordered each one and shared. After tossing up whether to get dessert, we got Sticky date pudding & Peanut butter/snickers slice and there was 0 disappointment. I will always come back to this amazing dining experience. 10/10 !

This was our first visit to the Raw Kitchen. We had never been to a vegan restaurant before What a great experience and terrific food. Initially the four of us were seated at a table for four but once the large tasting platter for sharing and other dishes for entrees arrived it was clear that we needed more room. We were relocated to one of the large tables inside a shipping container- yes, you have read that correctly. There are two large cut away shipping containers with seating for larger groups inside inside the restaurant- what a great feature they are. We ordered four mains and a side dish...delicious flavours. The young lass who served us was charming. We will definitely return.

A great experience all over at the Raw Kitchen. The ambiance of the restaurant played a key role in the mood, allowing you to feel relaxed and also excited for the meal ahead. Since we couldn't decide we shared four mains and each member had a different favourite dish; personally I would recommend the pad Thai and the hand-rolled pasta, although the three mushroom pizza and yellow coconut current were not far behind. The service at the restaurant was great, never overbearing, always being around when needed. Thank you to the Raw Kitchen for providing us with a delicious meal, will definitely be back again!!

The food is really good and we enjoyed it, even my nephew & my daughter who doesn’t eat that much veggies liked it so much.

To anyone unsure that raw food can taste good, this is a great place to begin exploring and debunking your doubt.

My first time to Raw Kitchen, and it was a lovely experience! The space is large and open, but still feels welcoming, with funky decor. The wait staff were very attentive and very well versed when telling you about the daily specials and also the conservation values behind the venue. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but I did not feel I 'missed out' as every dish was very tasty (I ordered the hummus & flat bread, roast potatoes, & the nachos). The portion size of the Nachos was very generous, as was my friend's raw Pad Thai (we couldn't finish it!) The house made Kombucha was also very nice. All round, I was impressed and would dine here again

If you are looking for more than a meal - head over to my new favorite restaurant, the Raw Kitchen. This wholesome experience is the highlight of my month.

I am transitioning into being Vegan and they could not have made it any easier for me to commit to this lifestyle. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and met with a personal experience by our beautiful Waitress Maroline. She walked us through their sustainability efforts, the menu and the specials and was so passionate about it. The range on the menu made it impossible to choose - however we settled for the Truffle Pizza, Vegan Nachos, Sri Lankan Chick peas with flat bread & Bruschetta - paired with a beautiful bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. I cannot recommend the Truffle Pizza enough! I went with a sworn meat eater and she said it was the best meal she has had in her life! The atmosphere was cruisy and wholesome and the breeding ground for enticing conversation.

I will be back and have already reccomended this beautiful location to my friends and families.

We went for a 6pm meal for four, with my mum being vegan, this place is fab! No awkwardly explaining what she can or can’t eat as everything is vegan! We were welcomed by a lovely manager who seated us and told us about the specials, although the menu is small, there is plenty of choice. We went for the sharing platter and two extra plates of bruschetta, really delicious flavours and plenty of food for four of us! We then all ordered the tempeh Thai style curry (which we had had on a previous visit) which is the most delicious curry I’ve ever eaten, the portion sizes are huge! I then ordered the sticky date pudding, which was just the nicest dessert I’ve ever eaten, so Satisfying but not too sweet. Altogether the bill was $160 with two drinks each, which compared to the $300 bill last time we went (didn’t book through first table then) was just amazing value. We really love raw kitchen and will be back time and time again!

This place has hands down amazing service and an excellent vibe. The atmosphere is really lovely and for those with limited dietary needs, it must be a fantastic feeling to not have to worry. As folks who can eat everything, whilst the food was really yummy, the menu was pretty limited and we realised just how much we love gluten

A beautiful space with wonderful food. From the moment we walked the service was friendly and informative and we all felt well looked after. Can highly recommend the curry, which was a very generous serving and the pumpkin/pear puree was to die for.The chef's special was the gnocchi, which was quite delicate in flavour but we really enjoyed as well. Great music in the background and you can browse the lovely shop afterwards.

We booked a table for 2 for my daughter and I. Greeted like queens on our arrival, we were seated in a comfortable highback warm seat. The favourite dish of the night was the yellow coconut curry which was a very generous portion. Sticky date pudding for desert with ice cream was probably not needed but was scrumptious! We will be back.

Having gone signed up for the unlimited intro to yoga at the yogalab I was super excited to try the food at Raw. We choose it as our venue for our last night in freo. It was a wonderful way to end our trip. The venue was lovely and the Food was so yummy. We shared the dishes as it all sounded so good I wanted to try it all. Was pleasantly surprised with the pizza. The Raw kitchen has given me yet another reason to come back to Freo.
