Had a lovely birthday dinner at Carrington Place the staff were truly delightful. attentive but not omnipresent.
The main course Pork, Lamb and scotch fillet dishes were great.
My daughter went for the vegetarian options or Edamame followed by the mUshroom entree and enjoyed both.
My 15 yo son is a very fussy (ASD)eater and the kitchen were very accommodating with his steak and "on the side requirement".
The charcuterie board was disappointing considering the focus on local produce but allowed my son to participate in the entree course.
Overall a lovely evening

We were greeted on arrival by a friendly waitress & bartender. Our flatbread with garlic butter & semi dried tomatoes was delicious, plenty for two to share. For mains we had lamb rump & salmon. The lamb rump was tender & cooked medium rare as ordered, the Parmesan mash was fluffy & delicious. The salmon was well cooked & delicious too, the skin a little saltier than ideal. Side dishes of honey carrots & sweet potato fries were plentiful & tasty.
We chose the sugar waffles for dessert, the waffle was a little doughy, the honeycomb ricotta was nice, and the charred pineapple was nice, but not noticeably charred.
The service was great, our waitress was friendly & did a great job.
All in all a nice experience, we will be back.

Dined here with family of four to celebrate our son’s HSC. Food and service both excellent. The restaurant decor is beautiful with other more casual options in the bar area. Lovely evening- will certainly return and would highly recommend to everyone.

An experience not to be missed. Carrington Place is my all time favourite restaurant and as often as I can I suggest a dinner there. To use First Table was an added bonus. My guests were "over the moon" about the food and service and totally enjoyed their night which made me feel satisfied in my selection of venue.

The service was sensational! The floor manager was expertly attentive and highly personable. The food was great too, particularly the duck special, matched with great local wine and followed by a well constructed dessert combination. We had a great time and will return.

We had a great night for a friends birthday the mozzarella anf garlic flatbread and aracini balls were delicious. Mains were fabulous barramundi x 2 and steak cooked to perfection, medium. Deserts were lovely also the best being the Blueberry and peach crumble yummo. Will be back again. Lovely and cosy with the pizza ovens warming up the restaurant.

We had a really lovely dinner with my parents at Carrington Place. The entrees were generous in portion especially the delicious scallops. The cauliflower soup was warm and comforting, the prawn special had an amazing char that flavoured the dish to a new level and the fritti was crisp, paired with a spicy and delicious sauce. The main meals were the lamb special was cooked to perfection and had great flavour. The fish was delicate and refreshing and the rib gave everyone food envy with fall off the bone sticky meat. The chicken with prosciutto was flavourful, succulent and had a delicious peppercorn sauce. The peach blueberry crumble and apple frangipani tart were delicious and comforting whilst the rose water yoghurt dish was light and refreshing with wonderful texture.

Lovely private dining space tucked away behind the pub with a private courtyard perfect for a few drinks before or after dinner.

What a wonderful experience. Mother in laws birthday dinner. We were greeted and seated with care. The 3 course meal we had could not be faulted in any way. We enjoyed starters of arrancini balls, smoked eal croqueete, and the favorite king prawn cocktail. Mains of eye fillet steak, riverina black angus steak both med-rear and the duck breast, we all finished off with the banoffie and another bottle of wine. Staff were wonderful and de-cantered our wine and served with the care of a 5 star restaurant. Scott the owner/chief thanked us for dining there shook our hands and wished Beverley all the best for her birthday. We advised we had a wonderful time and would defiantly be back. We were not rushed and left about 9pm. This would have to be the best 3 hours spent in any restaurant.

We hadn’t been to Carrington Place for a while and we were very happy when the First Table offer popped up. The whole meal was wonderful and you must try the caramelised onion bread - a meal in itself. The decor is classy and the outlook over the courtyard adds to the experience. Service was excellent, meal selection tasty and varied and the wine list extensive.

I'm glad we booked through first table or we would have never known this great little restaurant was around the back of the pub. Food and service were very good and it was excellent value for money with First Table and quite reasonably even priced without. I'd love to see a few more vegetarian options but would be happy to come here again.
