All the laneways and sidewalks of the city have inspired the unique aesthetic of this restaurant which uses underlit glass wine cabinets, metal stencils, ultra-contemporary lighting and clever shadowing to encapsulate Melbourne's quirky soul. Full of fire and theatre, Platform 270 is quite unlike any other.

The menu showcases the very best of the contemporary Australian kitchen and combines it with the plates we know and love. The starters whizz all over the globe with the likes of ricotta de campagne, kimchi fried rice balls, halloumi chips and lamb spare ribs. They might sound like substantial feasts in themselves, but you're best advised to save some room for the main event which is well worth the wait.
