4 of us dined. Atlantic salmon was perfect. The waygu rump enjoyed... tender but a tad over cooked. Texas fillet devoured by a beef freak. I had the texas scotch with their super yummy peppercorn and whisky sauce. Great chips well cooked veggies. Very very very enjoyable. Nice outdoor setting. We will set this as a regular. Cheers.

The ribs were great but the baked potato too small - nice little outdoor setting but they should have mossie spray

Wisdom is an open air pub with some small aircon rooms. Dining is alfresco under a cool gazebo. We were hankering for a decent steak. I cant complain about a full 500g rib eye. Cooked to perfection, Delicious peppercorn and whiskey gravy, beer battered chips and salad. Hell Yeah !! We will be back.

We had a great dinner at Wisdom. The soft shell crab and ribs were excellent! Also plenty of choice on the kids menu and generous portions. Would definitely recommend if you are in for a not too quiet dinner experience in a bar setting.

The food was OK not really mind blowing but tasty and plentiful. The sizes are enormous. I had the cola BBQ ribs which was really nice and juicy. But the potato that comes with it is undercooked and not really making much sense on the plate. The kids had a kids burger which was huge almost like an adult burger size and not very kid friendly as it was full of black pepper. The steaks looked really good too. So next time I would avoid the burgers but go for the steaks and the ribs.

First time at Wisdom Bar and Cafe, relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly. We ordered Steaks which were all cooked as per order. Will definitely go back for a second visit. Great first experience using First Table.

When we arrived we were a little dubious due the group of Friday after work revellers in the bar area, but when we found our table with a welcome note to us and met our waitress we felt assured. The food was fabulous we had a trio of dips (very large serve), Oysters and soft shell crab with pork belly. The dips were tasty and the bread plentiful (we left quite a bit), the pork belly was a melt in your mouth delight, and the softshell crab cooked beautifully. The service by our waitress was fantastic, she was warm and friendly and although it appeared that she was working both bars was really attentive. We loved the outdoor effects of this bar and restaurant feeling part of the territory but don't worry it is under cover with ample fans to make sure you are protected from the elements. We recommend this restaurant and will be heading back for sure.

We had an amazing meal and experience at Wisdoms for dinner. The eatery part still got the vibe and atmosphere of the pub and night life of Darwin yet separate enough you could talk and hear each other

We were advised we were the first to use a First Table voucher here.
Arrived on time and were seated at our reserved table. Waitress gave us menus but did not advise that we needed to go to the counter to order.... it was only that I noticed someone else go to the counter that I realised. The rest of the evening was lovely, the food was delicious. We started with oysters Kirkpatrick and szechuan squid then roadkill tacos and soft shell crab with pork belly for main. My partner commented that it was the best soft shell crab he had eaten.
The meals all came out promptly and fresh and although we had to be there early, we never once felt rushed.
My partner did comment that the bar service was rather poor as he was left standing waiting while other people came to the bar and were served...... so i guess this was a negative.
All in all it was a very enjoyable evening and we will definitely be back.
