Dining at Mitchell’s was a first class experience. We were treated like VIPs and the ambience matched. Subdued lighting and gentle jazz accompanied our meal. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his hamburger and polished it all off. My barramundi with crispy skin was delicious and cooked to perfection. The pumpkin mash and Asian greens could have stood a little more seasoning. The helpings were generous. We will return another time to try their starters which included an arancini ball stuffed with Brie along with a dipping sauce. Dragonfruit panacotta sounded most intriguing. We enjoyed a fabulous romantic evening meal.

This place was very nice as its located inside the Hilton. Atmosphere was very nice and it look very expensive. Our food was delicious and the staff was externally helpful and happy. We will definitely be back here next time we are in Darwin. 10/10

Had a lingering craving for steak but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg at some upscale place where I would have to wait for my slice of cow. Stopped in here and now I'm good for the rest of the year..Steak was perfectly cooked and was delicious with the red wine sauce. I always seem to straddle this line between medium-but-not-well-done-enough and medium-but-too-well-done...

We had a brownie and dragon fruit panacotta at the end. It was delicious! Creamy and sweet.

Overall, I really like this place. The steak comes out fast, big, and delicious. I was happy with the price and also, happy that my friend was happy. Win-win. :-)

Our dining experience at Mitchells was a wonderful surprise ,the ambience was loverly the staff were friendly and very helpful and our food was as good or better than one of the top restaurants we went to only two weeks ago . There is great choices on the menu and we will now include Mitchells in our regular top 6 choices as there is a lot of good restaurants in Darwin

My only question about our dining experience at Mitchell's was 'Why have we not been here before?' The staff and food was amazing! We were entertained from the moment we arrived for our pre-dinner drinks. Lovely ambience with a talented pianist playing some relaxing moody tunes. Thank you everyone and particularly Chef in training Conner who answered our million questions and surprised us with a special treat. Highly recommend Mitchell's and we will definitely be coming back for more....

Smart casual dining room and bar. Great friendly staff and very good food served on time. We were going to a show afterwards and they hurried our meal . Fantastic rib eye steak just a bit over done but still very tasty. The Barra and prawn penne were perfect. Thanks we will be back with more friends.

Went out for a birthday dinner and we had a wonderful night. The drinks, food and service were very good. Barramundi and risotto dishes were delicious. Highly recommend them and will be back to Mitchell's for another dinner. The only confusing part was finding the restaurant as we didn't know it is located inside the Hilton Hotel.

We had a lovely dinner at Mitchell's Bar & Grill. It's rare that we dine at hotel restaurants but were happily surprised this time. The wait staff were very attentive & food was divine!

It was my Partner's birthday and we decided to celebrate it at Mitchell's. One of the best steaks in Darwin and thanks to Elisabetha(I hope I got the spelling right) and the other wonderful lady with her that night!

The food was great. Missed out on their terrine which is seriously good.. friend had prawn and chirizo pasta and loved it.. scotch fillet and lamb rump was more medium well than medium but still good. Could have been a bit warmer. Staff are lovely. Only gripe is they tend to fill your champers to the top which makes. It flat and warm if you drink slowly.. we will come back again

Excellent food and presentation, good value especially with First Table, highly recommended

Food was five star - ordered the crispy skinned Barra and it was amazing! Our waitress (Elisabetta - noted her name because she was amazing!) went above and beyond. I normally wouldn’t eat at a hotel restaurant as we live here, but support these guys! Amazing food, fabulous service.

I ordered the 16hr slow braised beef ribs to start, the rib was very tough and chewy. My husband had the garlic prawns which were tasty. For the main I got the Scotch Fillet, it was cooked nice but was a rather bland, tough piece of steak. My husband got the lamb rump which he said was ok but the mash had no flavor. The veggies were lovely.

- dined at Mitchell's on

Great dinner, I had the Barramundi, husband had the scotch fillet. Both were cooked well & great flavours. Only criticism with mine was that the couscous has a spice in it that was quite overpowering & had I had it with the barramundi it would have completely overpowered the fish.
The restaurant was cosy with a nice ambience. Service was good. Would definitely recommend it.

Went there for Dinner with my Partner. Food was outstanding. I had the Angus Scotch which was cooked to perfection. As Entree we where sharing The Terrine and Garlic Bread which was delicious. My Partner had the Lamb Rump which was perfectly cooked. Compliment to the Kitchen.I also would like to give a compliment to the two Waitress they are very friendly and professional. Well done! Highly recommended this Restaurant.

The food was excellent. The entree of salt and pepper calamari was the best I have ever eaten and my husband and I dine out quite a lot in many cities around Australia. We will keep going back.

- dined at Mitchell's on

We arrived promptly at 6 pm and were shown our seats, the waitress had our order in a few minutes. The menu was not extensive but it definitely did look delicious. I ordered the steak and my partner ordered the duck. We shared a starter or calamari. The calamari was cooked well, although the “batter” was falling off it. The meat was tender, just let down by the batter not staying where it should. The steak was well cooked but closer to medium than med rare. It was delicious and the Jus was awesome. The vegetables were extraordinary. I loved them. Perfectly cooked. The duck was just a touch dry. My partner loved the potato mash. It certainly wasn’t bad duck. It did have a very sweet glaze.

Over all a very pleasant dinning experience. We will definitely be back.

Great food, although brought out well done instead of medium steak. Lacks atmosphere as inside the hotel lobby. Service was okay as the waiter seemed nervous. Overall a nice meal and evening but could be better.

We introduced friends to First Table by dining at Mitchell's. Like us they were very impressed with the quality of the meals and service. This was our second dining experience and Mitchell's did not disappointed. Highly recommended :)

Food was great and came out quite quickly.
The staff are friendly but it does shit me to see staff on their phones.
A little bit hard to find as it’s actually located in the hotel which should be on the website or address when you search them.

The service is excellent. But the food is leaving a lot for improvement. The mushroom risotto was like out of a packet, too much and too gluggy and too overcooked. The chocolate mousse had a very heavy and chukny cream on top that was inedible. The staff on the other hand is fantastic, very polite, professional yet attentive.

Mitchell’s dinner was one of my best experiences in Darwin; Outstanding service and excellent food. All meals were beautifully presented, and it was delicious! Wine and cocktail specials from the restaurant along with our choice of meals lifted up our satisfaction! Try Mitchell's, you won't regret!

An interesting experience ... got to the restaurant and it looked like it wasn't open, so we went in and sat down. The waiter brought us a menu and the rest (as they say) was history ... the service was great, the food was superb (only wished for more vegetable proportion) but, a wonderful night was had by all. While the menu wasn't that pricey, the 50% on the food bill was appreciated. ****

Excellent and attentive staff. Food was great the quail was a little underwhelming altho everything else was top quality and delicious. Wet season dining is in the bar area not the main restaurant a sign could save other first table diners waiting for restaurant to open.
We will return I would highly recommend

We dined with our 1yo, and although he didn't sit still we still enoyed our dinner at Mitchells! We both got the $39 steaks (forgot what they were called) and 2 rounds of drinks. Impeccable service by the staff, and they really made us feel welcome. Meals were a touch overcooked but still the best steak we have had in Darwin! I would order your steak a little less done - eg hibby ordered MR but received MW.
10/10 would dine again!
