This family-friendly restaurant is located in the Hunter Valley’s Pokolbin, and has a strong focus on plant-based food. A little more than half of the menu is vegan or vegetarian, with ingredients that are seasonal and, when possible, local and organic.
The menu is modern, yet classical, with Anglo-Italian and Thai influences. Choose from starters such as the beetroot-cured Atlantic salmon or the deep-fried zucchini flowers, and follow it up with a quinoa and lentil ‘steak’. Or, for those who crave a little more meat, try the slow-braised lamb shoulder or crispy skin confit chicken Maryland. A range of sides are also available, including heirloom tomatoes and omg potatoes—who could resist with a name like that?
