Venue is spacious and relaxed which was good as we had our 4 year old. Service was friendly and I enjoyed my lamb shank. My husbands pork rib was so tender but we found the sauce a bit too sweet. Unfortunately my son didn’t like his nuggets as he found too many gristle but loved the ice cream that came afterwards.

Our steaks and vegetables were very nice, the sauces were nice but a little disappointing, my Dijon came straight out of a jar and the pepper sauce appeared to be more of a relish. Service was quick and wait staff were friendly.

Service was amazing, the staff were all so bubbly and friendly, it was great.
Beer battered chips were great, really big chips and a decent serving size.
Duck pancakes were fantastic, very well presented and as good as you'd find at any Chinese restaurant.
The potato pizza was a bit of a let down. Almost bland, not quite enough cheese, very minimal seasoning and the chilli didn't quite work. The base was tasty but very thin, and it was extremely oily.
Overall, great first experience with First Table, and Gryphons did not disappoint
