Enjoy relaxed river dining at its finest…
Malt Pier lives up to its reputation. The riverside equivalent of its celebrated sibling (Malt Dining in Market Street), they serve modern Australian cuisine as reimagined by Head Chef Tyson Christie.
Opening out onto the Brisbane River, with a gorgeous alfresco feel, Malt Pier is an idyllic spot for dinner. Their award-winning menu focuses on fresh seasonal flavours and local ingredients, with a nod to sustainable farming.
To start, try their exquisite seafood, like the seared Japanese scallop, or the crispy calamari salad. For a showstopping main, opt for the sous vide rib fillet, poached in café de Paris butter.
Chef Christie is very attentive to dietary requirements and creates innovative dishes such as the miso-glazed grilled zucchini, served with caramelised sweet potato (V).
Thanks to their creative cuisine, superb wine list and professional team, Malt Pier has become one of Brisbane’s favourite restaurants.
