Any Indian craving, large or small, spicy or cool, meaty or vegetarian, Ballarat Indian Restaurant has it all.
Boasting a colourful garden and beautiful Indian sculptures, Ballarat isn't a far cry from a temple. Inside, however, it's an understated little eatery with a cheery dining area that caters brilliantly for groups and intimate suppers.
Mix and match your starters. Go veggie with some vegetable samosas, tandoori mushroom and paneer pakoras and then counter it with the meaty goodness that is the hariyali chicken tikka and tandoori cutlets. The choices don't stop there; you have a long way to go my friend.
Whatever curry you're after, it's on the menu. Fancy chicken? You've got chicken jalfrezi, chicken madras and butter chicken to name just a few. The beef and lamb curries are wonderfully rich and tender while the seafood delights are fiery and bold. There are heaps of vegetarian curries too, with mushroom masala, palak paneer and classic daal making their mighty presence known.
