A pub in Adelaide with a difference and comforting grub to match, this is The Unley.

Fully equipped with three light, casual dining areas, cosy fireplaces and a stunning rooftop bar, The Unley is quite simply a fantastic hangout and will undoubtedly be your new favourite. Recline with some liquid fun in their comfy front bar before heading to their contemporary dining room for some tasty classics.

Begin with some grazing plates like their brisket burnt ends or some locally sourced grilled prawns. Then indulge your inner carnivore with the South Australian Angus sirloin, lamb shoulder ragu or chicken breast schnitzel. Vegetarians have no fear, there is a vegan pumpkin and tofu salad – nutritious and delicious!

And what's a pub without a great drinks menu? The Unley boasts numerous South Australian local beers on tap as well as wines from the local region and a seasonal cocktail menu.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and fairly standard pub food, though in a good way. If you are keen for a pub meal but also want to try somewhere you might not have been before, this could be your destination. If you're local to the area and just want a pint with mates or somewhere to take your family with no fuss, I'd also recommend it.

It was our first visit to The Unley after reading a great review in an on-line paper. We were not disappointed. The main courses were superb (gnocci and latin american chicken breast) carefully presented and full of flavour. Having tasted the mains, we were eager to try desserts (sticky date pudding and affogato). Again, they were superb. We have dined recently at a highly decorated establishment at Crafers and the biggest compliment I can give The Unley is that the food was equally as good. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definately return.
