Whether you ride the waves or just enjoy tasty food whilst enjoying a stunning view, Glenelg Surf Club is ready and waiting with a healthy, nutritious menu with plenty of yum.

Within touching distance of the sea, the restaurant sits pretty overlooking the beautiful coast. In true surfing spirit, the whole layout is super chilled and relaxed with informal seating, a bright interior and beach umbrellas on the patio if you're turning into a lobster.

The menu is full of no-frills classics that'll fill your boots! There are wraps, burgers, pizzas, pastas, seafood and meat dishes. There's no better place to sample the local seafood; try the South Australian Flathead or Seafood Plate that is overflowing with squid, prawns, oysters and much more. Meat dishes include rump steak, sticky pork ribs and a beef schnitzel.

The pizzas have a range of unique toppings like a veggie-friendly pumpkin and spinach number as well as prawn and chorizo and BBQ chicken. It's the perfect spot for families, so why not bring the young uns along to enjoy the kiddie menu!

Such a beautiful spot! Sitting on the balcony on a perfect evening, we enjoyed the view towards the sea as we feasted on the most delicious food. All four of us chose the seafood plate, a lovely combination of generous delicacies, presented nicely and served promptly by a friendly waitress. It was good to arrive early as it became quite busy inside as we were leaving. We didn’t feel at all hurried and the overall experience was relaxing and very pleasant. The menu was quite extensive and the prices reasonable, with special offers for seniors and children. We would definitely recommend this fabulous family restaurant!

Absolutely brilliant meal on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Had the Seafood and Meat platters, with the surf club salad, between 4 of us - more than enough food for us to graze over whilst enjoying the sunset.

Wow what a find for a great casual dining experience. After being greeted by a friendly but very professional staff member we were seated in a lovely spacious area overlooking the sea. The atmosphere was casual, friendly and welcoming. I had the seafood plate which was amazing and the salt and pepper squid was some of the best I have had. The menu is centered around seafood but there are also the usual pub style choices like burgers, schnitzels and ribs. Oh and the buffalo chicken wings and oysters were also a hit for starters. Will be back for sure.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Surf Club in Glenelg. One of the few restaurants at the Bay will full ocean views. The balcony is a lovely spot on a warm evening to watch the sunset. Food is great - pub style food, done really well. Kids menu is good and has healthier options instead of just fried food with hot chips (eg chicken salad, curry, pasta bolognaise). Will definitely return! Relaxed and family friendly.

Our Family dinner at the Glenelg surf club on a Sunday night was relaxed and enjoyable.
Staff were fantastic despite our order being delayed, extra items on the order and confusion with the bill.
Food was fantastic, both steak- eaters had their steak cooked perfectly, size of serving was perfect and all-in-all a great meal.
The Club was very busy that night - but not too busy for the staff to sort out the "differences" and we were given complimentary drinks to make up for their delayed service. We would go back!! :)

Great food great prices, tables are way too close together with chair legs that stick out it's no wonder people trip over like last night (lost his drinks) but warm inside, quite loud inside but beautiful view. In saying that I would go back

Beautiful location at the beach with great views. They had live music that was tooooooo loud. Asked to be moved because we were seated right in front of the speaker. They accommodated with a little fuss. I had the flathead crumbed. Cooked to perfection with tasty chips and salad. My son had the club burger which he said was delicious and filling. Would definitely eat there again minus the loud music. ( Must be getting too old )

Excellent location and food was great. Service came with a smile too.

Location is upstairs with an accessible lift and looks out of Glenelg beach and beyond.

Lots of menu options for the kids to choose from; if you’re looking for a great spot for a casual and tasty dinner make the booking.
