Das Bierhaus

Operating out of one of Sydney’s oldest hotels, Das Bierhaus is Mona Vale’s very own Bavarian Bierhaus. Founded by Austrian Stefan Tomaschuetz, Das Bierhaus sits in its traditional building nicely and has a unique and jovial atmosphere.

True to its name, Das Bierhaus offers a generous selection of traditional European beers served in steins, and an extensive wine and schnapps menu. From the kitchen, expect traditional German, Austrian and Bavarian dishes from bread to schnitzel, roast pork to cordon bleu. Don’t forget, no German meal would be complete without an apple strudel, (or one of Das Bierhaus’ other delicious desserts.)

All food at Das Bierhaus is created in-house from authentic old German and Austrian recipes, just the way that grandma makes it, by our team of European chefs. It’s ideal for date night, a special occasion, a meal with your family, or with a group of friends.
