Price Point: Mains from $15 - $25

The clue's in the name; at Eastside Social it's all about being...you guessed it...social! Serving nutritious, no-fuss food, their grub is destined for your tummy, not your Instagram feed.

Keeping it real from their menu to their decor, this eatery really is what it says on the tin. Step into their futuristic dining room, with 360-degree glass walls, minimalist furnishings and splashes of their statement yellow. If summer was a dining room, it'd be this one.

Kick off with some small plates to share, like their bao buns filled with pork belly, buffalo chicken pop sticks with creamy blue cheese or some squid rings to dip into some lemon aioli. Then, bask in the glorious sunset while waiting for your mains.

Nothing says homemade like some fresh-outta-the-pasta-maker pasta with bolognese, tiger prawns or charred chicken. Alternatively, call on the services of the pizzeria or keep it healthy with their mix of superfoods and salads. Whatever your dining style, Eastside Social has you covered.

We tried the loaded hummus and bread to start which was delicious. Bread was fresh and warm - a great start. We also definitely enjoyed the espresso martini! For mains we had the salmon and rice and the beef salad, both were tasty. We finished our meals with the affogato which I would definitely order again! Great spot for dinner before catching the bus from across the road straight to Optus Stadium!

Eastside Social Club is bright and airy, with a chic vibe. When we dined there, the food and service were both excellent. We had the Beef Rendang, Assorted Sliders, and Honey Cake for dessert. Definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner!

Initially we couldn’t find the restaurant - but glad we did! Upstairs at the Ibis we found a bright, light filled modern restaurant. The menu had some great salads but we went for tapas. I generous platter of sliders, tasty squid and some olives with chorizo. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. A nice early dinner before WASO.

Had a little trouble finding the restaurant as there were no signs before walking into the Ibis Hotel. The service and good was delightful. We had an excellent meal there.

Pretty uninspiring, unfortunately. We were not told about a function next door and the corresponding wait times for food. We had two young kids with us and somehow ended up being served last in the restaurant. Waited 45 minutes for starters (sliders) which were decidedly average; stale buns, the beef sliders were totally dry. Was hard to get the attention of a server and when we did we found them rather unhelpful / incompetent. Ended up getting mains (pizza) take-away an hour and a half after arriving at the restaurant... The "salami" pizza had a total of 6 small slices of chorizo on it...and the wild rice in the salad was beyond crunchy. Across the board poor, glad it was half price. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend, even for half price.

Very good service and food. Highly recommend the capellini pasta with prawns. Prawns cooked perfectly!
