Wonderful dining experience at this hotel. Food was delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Nice ambiance with indoor fireplace and plenty of light and windows to watch the world go by in Williamstown. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful dining experience with excellent service. Food was delicious: tender lamb shanks, creamy garlic prawns, and a sticky date pudding that I almost ordered again to have seconds. Rhubarb crumble was perhaps a little bitter and runny, but still tasty. The wait staff were warm, attentive and friendly. Will definitely visit The Vault on Nelson again.

We were pleasantly surprised as the food was great. Duck was slightly over cooked but otherwise the other five meals were perfect. Having said that I’d still order the duck again. Dining companions enjoyed beef short ribs and steak. Would certainly eat here again.

My kids, hubby and I had a lovely breakfast at The Vault On Nelson at Williamstown. I had smashed avo with poached eggs on rye bread, my hubby had a big breakfast and my kids shared a massive plate of fish and chips and loved there milkshakes. We didn't finish our plates the amount of food was enormously delicious. We will be back with empty stomachs.

Excellent Service!!!
We had the seafood platter, everything was lovely. Just found the scallops and calamari and lobster didn’t have as much flavour compared to the rest of the platter but that’s just being picky.
Overall we had a beautiful dinner and they catered for our young child beautifuly - thank you

Food was fantastic. Decent sized meals, extremely tasty. Didn’t leave hungry. The sweet potato wedges were incredible!!!. Service was good but not great. Waiter was so quietly spoken we had to keep asking him what he was saying.

Great food and friendly service! The restaurant it’s self could do with an upgrade to the styling! The food is great and waiters are friendly. Reasonably priced food too.

Went here on a damp night and treated ourselves to somewhere new and 10 mins from home. I had the soup of the day which was pumpkin and it tasted like nice homemade soup. My husband had the bowl of olives with bread but it seemed a little lonely as a dish, Olives tasted fine though. We both had the steak and was cooked how we like it, med rare. Was a little disappointed as there just seemed a lack of that typical ‘steak taste’. Meat wasn’t tough, but I felt it was ‘thready’ if that is such a word.
