How is First Table helping restaurants in the Covid-19 recovery?
Restaurateurs are asking us to promote their restaurant to as many people as we can as they want local foodies to know they’re open. First Table has always been a great way for our partner restaurants to attract new customers and build an atmosphere from the beginning of the night and we're pumped and ready to get people dining at restaurants again.
There’s going to be an initial surge of people dining out to support their favourite eateries but as we saw in the takeaway space, the initial surge slows down. With this in mind, restaurant owners are looking for ways to promote their menus and our large audience is the perfect way for them to reach a wider audience of foodies.
Once you’re there, you can help local restaurants by exploring more of the menu and asking your server which drinks (drinks are full price) they recommend to complement your chosen dishes.
Rest assured that only those restaurants that are ready and willing to offer First Table will appear with availability. Those that are still working through their transition into alert levels one and two will remain on hold for as long as they need to.
Can I book a First Table in stage one, two or three?
Australians can dine out on First Table in stages one, two or three but are asked to adhere to the relevant hygiene and social distancing requirements implemented by our partner restaurants.
First Table restaurants are still showing as ‘closed temporarily’. When will they become available to book?
Our team is working round the clock to update First Table availability for our partner restaurants. Rest assured that only those restaurants that are ready and willing to offer First Table will appear with availability. Those that are still working through their transition into dine-in service will remain on hold for as long as they need to.
