Chef and owner Michael Guirguis has created popular local destinations before. The brains behind Terrigal’s French/Italian Novanta Quattro moved to Sydney to open Sirocco and Sorrel before heading back to the Coast for Suq.

The menu here is designed to be shared. Each dish serves two and celebrates a fusion of food inspired by the Mediterranean, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. All ingredients are fresh and sourced locally when possible.

Some vegetarian options are available and the dessert menu is full of appeal, with dishes including an orange and Grand Marnier crème brulée and chocolate fondant.

This restaurant is fully licensed, with an array of wines, beers and spirits available. A limited cocktail menu is also on offer.

Suq is a great place for a dinner date or a night out with friends.
